Advice worth listening to!

I recently read a blog post by Will Richardson discussing the education reform front. He mentioned the name Doug Noon. I have been reading posts by Doug ever since. Doug has a great way of creating discussions on topics that are not usually discussion filled topics... Clearing a Space to Think had 15 comments posted in just a day or two. Simple topics, creative delivery, the education reform front is alive!

Woody's Links

There are a few sites on the net that I have found to be very easy to work with. http://pageflakes.com/ is my go to site. They have actually remodeled the whole site with more template options and more choices for feeds. Pageflakes is like my personal newspaper. I have subscription to everything from educational blog feeds to the local movies that are playing. Any problems you have with the site, the help center is almost immediate to answer your questions. I have not been disappointed at all with this online newspaper site.
Another site that I have found to be very useful is http://flickr.com/. I upload all of my photos to flickr. Instead of taking up space on my hard drive with thousands of pictures, I use flickr's to store them. I have updated to a flickr pro account which costs me $24.99 a year. I have unlimited storage capabilities with flickr. This site also makes it very easy to put pictures into my blogs, share pictures with friends, and access my pictures from anywhere in the world. You can check out my photos by going to the URL http://flickr.com/photos/checkwoodyout.
These 2 links have been the most useful links along my path of learning on the internet. I hope you check them out.

Twitter: What are you doing?

Will Richardson http://weblogg-ed.com/ , just informed me of a great link. http://twitter.com/ is a site that asks everyone: What are you doing right now? It is a great feed to add to your RSS reader. I can see this working beautifully if you have a group of friends that are at a great distance away from each other. Its kind of like im/blog/text messaging all tied into one great package. The cool part about it is that you can add a feed to your RSS reader. I have to start to get my friends on board now!
