That assembly/pep rally was way over the to...Whoa! That assembly/pep rally was way over the top. You should say something (respectfully, of course) to your administration on inappropriate that pep rally was. I can't believe they're giving away cash as a prize.<BR/><BR/>I have no problem with school fund raisers but I agree with you that the way your school promoted it was not appropriate. My school PTA has one fund raiser a year. There is no pep rally to promote the fund raiser; it is promoted through the school newsletter and eSchoolNewsletter. Students are told not to go to strangers house and there are a few reasonable prizes (I think it's a Target gift card). This is definitely, as you said, disturbing.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
